Adur and Worthing Councils are seeking a talented Digital Delivery Manager to join their Digital and Design service in Worthing for a two year fixed term appointment.
The department, which is responsible for the delivery and support digital applications and services to staff and members of the public; are looking for an individual with appropriate skills, behaviours and competencies to mature its Digital Programme Management function, at a time of increased focus on the delivery of high-quality, customer-focussed digital services.
You will be an experienced IT / Digital Programme manager or senior Project Manager, with a proven track record of managing enterprise-scale Digital and ICT projects using both PRINCE2 and AGILE project management methodologies effectively.
Excellent people and project accounting and management skills will be a key part of your skills competency base, ensuring you champion the cause of the Digital Programme as your key priority. Additionally, you will be confident in the presentation of information through programme boards, dashboards and regular highlight reports, demonstrating your keen attention to detail.
As a senior member of the Digital and Design team you will be part of the management team and expected to negotiate effectively with collegiate managers in the team as well as managers elsewhere in the business, securing and appropriately utilising the resources allocated to your programme of works.
