Duties of the post:

An exciting opportunity to work on one of the largest regeneration projects in the South East.

Adur District Council, Brighton & Hove City Council and West Sussex County Council are working in partnership to deliver the Shoreham Harbour Regeneration Project. The councils have ambitious plans to transform the area with a mix of new sustainable developments alongside an enhanced Shoreham Port.

You will assist in the adoption and delivery of the Shoreham Harbour Joint Area Action Plan. We are also working with developers on exciting mixed use schemes, preparing a green infrastructure strategy, and developing plans for a district heat network in the area.

This is a varied post offering an excellent opportunity to be involved in policy development and delivery of a major regeneration project. The post will be jointly based within the Planning Policy teams at Adur & Worthing Councils and Brighton & Hove City Council.
