Are you highly motivated and looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to work with single people and families who are at risk of homelessness across Worthing Borough and Adur District, to help them resolve a wide range of housing and other support issues?

We are looking for a new member of the councils’ Housing Needs team who is educated to at least Level 2, or with equivalent experience, and who can demonstrate a good understanding of the causes of homelessness and prevention of homelessness and how to help people develop sustainable housing plans if already homeless.  You will also have experience of effectively managing a caseload in order to reach timely but positive outcomes for your housing clients. 

You will have the diverse skills needed to build relationships with individuals with complex needs and to negotiate innovative solutions with agencies, landlords, private, voluntary and public sector services in order to prevent and alleviate housing need.
