Duties of the post:
This role plays a vital part in keeping our streets and other public spaces tidy.
The post holders main responsibilities will include litter picking, sweeping shop fronts, emptying litter bins, collection of bulky items from householders, collection of fly tippings, replacing, fixing and repairing litter bins and the delivery and collection of trade bins to customers as well as having the responsibility of looking after a council vehicle and making sure that it is roadworthy.
Candidates must hold a licence to drive a Transit Tipper vehicle and knowledge of the local area is desirable.
