Duties of the post:

We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join our busy team of generic housing officers, to manage our council owned properties in the Adur district. You will be able to provide an excellent landlord service to our tenants and leaseholders. This is a mobile post, primarily based in our modern offices in Portland House, Worthing.

As a generic Housing Officer your duties will include rental income collection, dealing with antisocial behaviour, tenancy changes, and general estate management.

You will have proven experience in the social housing sector, as you will need knowledge of housing regulations and legislation. We will be calling on your excellent problem solving skills as you will need to be able to deal with complex queries, and cases, in a busy working environment.

You will need excellent communication and negotiation skills. It will be important that you are able to deal confidently with diverse communities, stakeholders, and colleagues.

Frequent travel is required in the role, so a full valid driving licence is required.
