Covid-19 Information Officer x 3 (Temporary for 12 months)

Salary: Starting from £22,183 to £24,491 p.a.

Grade: Grade 4

Hours: 37 hours per week

Place of work: Portland House

Closing date: 2nd December 2020

Duties of the post:

We are seeking 3 full time Covid-19 Information Officers, for a 12 month temporary contract, starting in December 2020.

These roles will be focused on informing and engaging with local businesses, the voluntary sector and communities in relation to Covid-19 safe practices, offering information and advice about how to be Covid-19 safe and compliant.

As part of a wider Public Health and Regulation team you will also need to be able to report back non-compliance to authorised officers for notices and other formal action.

To be successful in these roles you will need to be able to assimilate guidance quickly and be able to articulate the information to various stakeholders. You must have strong people skills, be adaptable and organised and effective at lone working.

You may be from a Local Authority or enforcement background and able to hit the ground running, and it is crucial that you have knowledge in Covid-19 control measures and experience in a public facing role.
