Adur & Worthing Council’s Economy Directorate has a clear ambition to lead and drive forward our economic growth ambitions, secure investment and provide a vibrant cultural offer that supports the local economy.

Adur and Worthing have been cutting edge Councils for some time - we were the first such authorities in the UK to share management teams and completely integrate services.

The Councils strive to make Adur & Worthing a unique and world class business and visitor destination where business ambition is supported, not hindered, by our public services leadership and interventions.

We are seeking an Investment Officer to work to the Head of Place & Economy to identify, lead and monitor bids for external funding in support of Adur & Worthing Council's economic growth and communities priorities; and prepare business cases for projects seeking Coast to Capital LEP funding.

The successful candidate will actively communicate with partner agencies and funding bodies to identify opportunities for income generation and bidding for grant income.

If you have the ambition, charisma and drive to make a genuine difference to our economic growth ambitions then we would like to hear from you.
