Vacancy Description

To assist and support the Carbon Reduction Manager with the implementation of the Councils’ 2030 Carbon Neutral Plan and delivery of carbon reduction and energy management across the councils’ services and buildings and transport.                                                                                                     
To create, manage and deliver projects and programmes to ensure effective achievement of the Councils’ 2030 Carbon Neutral Plan. To provide support in all aspects of the provision of a professional energy management service to the councils, effectively operating, managing and influencing the efficient use of energy resources by the Council.                                                                                                           
To support driving the Councils’ response to the Declaration of Climate Emergency across the councils working closely with the Estates Team, Adur Homes and Technical Services, customers, stakeholders, consultants and contractors.

Temporary post until end of March 2023
