Casual Labour for Adur Street Markets

Salary: £10.14 per hour

Grade: Grade 3

Hours: Casual

Place of Work: Street Markets in Adur (main) with some requirement to assist in set up/break down of equipment hired to neighbouring areas

Closing date: 4th December 2019

An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and capable individuals to assist the Council’s Markets Officer in the set-up and breakdown of market stalls and equipment.  There are currently three street markets held in Adur taking place on a different Saturday each month.  The Council also hires out market stalls and equipment to external market and event organisers, creating an additional requirement for assistance to help transport and/or set-up and breakdown.

You need to be reliable,hardworking, physically fit, friendly and polite. You will need to be able to work at weekends (Saturday in particular) and prepared to work irregular hours. The rate of pay offered reflects this.
