Salary: Starting From £22,183 to £24,491, Per annum 

Grade: Grade 4 

Hours: 37 hours per week

Place of work: Based at Commerce Way, Lancing but working across Adur District & Worthing Borough sites

Closing Date: 20th September 2021, 23:55pm

Interview Date: 7th October 2021


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tractor driver working alongside our busy Grounds Maintenance teams at sites across Adur and Worthing. This is a hard working and well organised team which prides itself on providing an integrated approach to grounds maintenance delivery and so you will need to be organised, capable of working in and around the public with a good knowledge of Health & Safety protocols.

You will have operational experience of driving and operating a tractor with additional PTO Driven / Hydraulic attachments such as mowers, side arm flails, finger bars, front end loaders/forks etc

You will have NPTC MO1 Tractor Driving & Handling or evidence and significant demonstrable practical experience in addition you will need to have NPTC Tractor Driving and Related Operations or evidence of significant demonstrable practical experience.

As this is a post where you will be operating large machinery on the highway and Parks and Open Spaces you will need to hold a LGV Driving licence, Categories F, K, &  C1+E 

You will have a positive approach to working and take pride in the work that we do.  You will be able to demonstrate high standards of behaviour and professionalism in dealing with the public.
