Human Resources (HR) Coordinator

Post No: Tbc

Salary: Starting From £22,183 to £24,491 per annum, (Temporary contract until 31st December 2021)

Grade: Grade 4

Hours: 37 hours per week

Place of work:  Worthing Town Hall (currently working from home due to Covid restrictions)

Closing date: Sunday 20th June 2021

Interviews: 29th June or 30th June 2021


Duties of the post:

Adur & Worthing Councils are looking for a forward thinking and innovative HR Coordinator to join our friendly and busy HR team on a temporary contract until 31st December 2021.

We are looking for a well-organised individual with excellent IT skills, to provide a customer focused HR administrative service. The successful candidate will need to have a working knowledge of HR, especially legislation relating to creating contracts of employment.

We are looking for someone with the ability to prioritise their work, work under pressure and be a team player. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to respect the confidential nature of the work. 

The role will include taking notes at Employee Relations meetings and maintaining HR records on the computerised systems.
