You will be part of the Engineering Team which undertakes a broad range of civil, municipal and environmental engineering work for Adur & Worthing Councils.

With funding granted by Central Government, Adur & Worthing Councils are managing, in partnership with other Coastal Councils and the Environment Agency, the Regional Coastal Monitoring Programme for this area. You will be working as part of a team at the forefront of this work in the UK. Your main functions will be to assist with the collection, processing and analysis of coastal data.

Survey work will require you riding an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), a willingness to work outside of normal office hours (i.e. 4:00am starts and occasional 10:00pm finish) in all weather conditions. The physicality of this role cannot be underestimated.

You must have A-level Maths, Geography or an ONC in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering or a comparable Land Surveying qualification.
